Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment has secured the rights to make a prequel or sequel of Ridley Scott's 1982 dystopian classic Blade Runner. However the deal does not include rights to remake the original movie.

Why can't Hollywood leave anything alone? Blade Runner is a great movie that doesn't need replicants.
