Saw "Death Race" on TV this week. God, is that movie crap. Granted, the original "Death Race 2000" wasn't a classic, but it was entertaining. Death Race is NOT an improvement. I guess someone thought it would be a good idea to splice elements from "Escape From New York" and "Mad Max 2" into this movie. Well it wasn't.
And how many women prisons actually have hot, sexy chicks incarcerated within their walls?

Anyway watching Death Race reminded me of the recent news that Steven Spielberg is planning a remake of 1950 classic Harvey - the tale of a man who claims his best friend is a giant invisible rabbit.

OK, this is getting ridiculous...I don't condone diving, but for Eduardo to be apparently labelled a heinous cheater after one alleged incident is out of order.

Or to put this in perspective:

• Eduardo suffers a horrific double leg break against Birmingham City in February 2008...no action is taken against the perpetrator, Birmingham's Martin Taylor.
• Eduardo tumbles theatrically and gets a penalty...he's a dirty cheat, ban him.

Sorry, but the British media's knee-jerk reaction is simply pathetic and revolting.

By the way, if Eduardo's a cheat, then what about Ashley Young's apparent theatrics for Aston Villa in last night's Uefa Europa League match against Rapid Vienna?

Usain Bolt is simply incredible!!
Nothing more need be said...mere superlatives cannot describe the man.
However I sincerely hope the phenomenon that is Usain Bolt is genuine and not chemically assisted.
For now though, I'll suspend my cynicism and gladly salute Bolt's achievements (innocent until proven guilty in my opinion).
