Carles Puyol is the hero as Spain beat Germany 1-0 to make their first ever World Cup final, where they will face the Netherlands.

And once again, Paul the psychic octopus gets the correct result!!
Paul, who lives in the Sea Life Aquarium in the German city of Oberhausen, had reportedly predicted every correct result involving the national team during the 2010 World Cup thus far. This time however, Paul selected a mussel from a jar with the Spanish flag instead of one with a German flag, prior to last night's match.
Furthermore there are reports that some irate Argentinian supporters have blamed the octopus for their team's World Cup exit and expressed a desire to eat him in an act of vengeance.
