More World Cup (postscript)....

Sorry - I'm not exactly done with the World Cup (just yet)...here's a few newspaper headlines during the tournament which got my notice:

• Columnist Richard Littlejohn of the Daily Mail getting England's World Cup exit confused with the Battle of Britain in WW2
• The Sun on the England team's return to London's Heathrow Airport
• My favourite though is the Luis Suarez "Hand of the Devil" headline in South Africa's Sunday Times.

Meanwhile Paraguayan lingerie model Larissa Riquelme had originally promised to run naked through the streets of Paraguay's capital if her team won in South Africa, but has instead posed naked for the Diario Popular newspaper as a tribute to the national soccer team and their success in reaching the World Cup quarter-finals (where they were beaten by Spain).
